Publishing a Design
Publishing takes your design from the editor and makes it live at a permanent public URL. The process is instant — click Publish, and the URL is ready to use immediately.
Steps
Finish your design
Make sure you're happy with your graphic before publishing. While you can always republish after edits, it's good practice to review the animation in preview mode first.
Click Publish in the toolbar
The Publish button is in the top toolbar. Click it to open the Publish popover.
Click Publish Now
Hit Publish Now to make the design live. CloudMonet generates your public URL immediately.
Copy or open your URL
The URL appears in the popover. Use the copy button to grab it, or the open button to preview it in a new browser tab.
Always open the published URL in a fresh browser tab to see exactly what your audience will see — canvas preview mode in the editor can sometimes look slightly different from the fully-rendered published version.
What the Publish popover shows
- Published URL — the public link to your live graphic, with copy and open buttons (shows "Not yet published" before your first publish)
- Last published time — shown as a relative timestamp (
just now,5m ago,3h ago,2d ago) so you always know whether the live version is current - Primary action — before your first publish, this is Publish Now. After that, it becomes Open Control Panel, with a second button, Update & Preview, below it for pushing further edits live — see Republishing After Edits
