Zoom

• Zoom In / Zoom Out / Fit to Width buttons in the context toolbar (visible when nothing is selected)

Pan

• Two-finger scroll on a trackpad (or your mouse's scroll wheel) once you're zoomed in enough for scrollbars to appear
• Middle-click and drag, if your mouse has a middle button

Rulers

Toggle rulers on and off using the ruler icon in the context toolbar when nothing is selected. Rulers help you align objects precisely.
