Animation & Timeline
This section covers the Animate tab of the object panel, plus the timeline itself. Animation is what brings your graphics to life. CloudMonet uses a keyframe-based system — you define how an object looks at specific points in time, and CloudMonet smoothly interpolates between those states.
Every design has a configurable frame rate and total duration. All animation happens in the timeline at the bottom of the editor.
How it works
The core idea is simple:
- Move the timeline scrubber to a point in time
- Adjust an object on the canvas (move it, change its opacity, resize it, etc.)
- A keyframe is automatically recorded
Repeat this at different time positions to build a sequence. Hit Play to preview.
Text objects support additional preset animation types — Typewriter, Reveal, Fade, and more — set in the Animate tab rather than by keyframing. Shapes, images, and widgets have their own, smaller preset catalog (Fade, Stamp, Pop, Slide, Scale, Rotate, Wipe, Roll, Flip) in the same tab — applying one just generates keyframes for you, so full manual keyframing is always available too.
