Field Hockey Scoreboard
A broadcast scoreboard built for field hockey coverage: a fixed near-black plate carries bindable team codes and scores with kit-color identity swatches, alongside a locked quarter tracker and a customizable competition name banner. Red-card indicators (up to four per side) sit ready as operator-triggered elements, so the graphic can reflect discipline calls the instant they happen.
Kit-color swatches carry team identity, the plate stays fixed
Home Kit and Away Kit are color-bound swatches that fade on value change, while the plate itself stays a fixed near-black (#0A0A0A) regardless of which two teams are playing — so contrast against any pitch-side backdrop stays predictable.
Red cards are ad-hoc, not scheduled
Each red-card slot (up to four per side) rolls in and out independently on operator command. The board sits quietly until a card is shown — nothing here is timed off a data feed or pre-authored schedule.
Quarter is a locked dropdown, the competition banner is plain text
The QUARTER field is a locked Q1–Q4 dropdown rather than open text entry, so the operator can't mistype or enter an out-of-range period. The competition name banner is a simple editable text field that fades on value change, so operators can update it mid-broadcast without touching the score plate.
Fast enough for a solo operator, complete enough for a full crew
Every field that changes mid-match — score, quarter, red cards — is either data-bound or a single click away, and the locked quarter dropdown and fixed chassis mean there's nothing to misconfigure between periods. That makes it equally at home run by a single operator with a laptop and a camera at a school or club match, or driven off a live scoreboard feed by a dedicated graphics position on a larger broadcast — the same graphic scales down to a one-person setup without giving up anything a bigger production needs.
