Why is the free tier this capable?
Because evaluating a broadcast tool on a crippled demo doesn't tell you anything. Free gets the same editor, control app, and data binding as Pro — just tighter render-hour and storage limits.
What counts as an “output”?
A published URL actively being rendered by a destination — an OBS browser source, CLOUDPORT-NG, or similar. The Control App itself is free and unlimited at every tier.
Do I need Pro for GDL / Amagi export?
Only if you're already running Amagi infrastructure. It's the one feature reserved for Pro — everything else is governed by usage, not capability.
Can I run a single event without subscribing?
Yes — the Event pass is a flat $15/day, available with or without a standing plan. Good for a wedding, a town hall, or a one-off tournament.
