Basketball Score Alert · Floodlight
A lower-third that announces the latest basket the moment it is scored: +1, +2 or +3 as the label, the player in large type, the shot type, an assist, the game time, the scoring side's crest and colour, and the score after the basket, on a deep indigo plate.
The points are the first thing you read
The +1, +2 or +3 is the largest type on the alert, in the scoring side's colour block, because a basketball viewer asks "how many?" before "who?". It pops in as the alert arrives.
The scoring side wears its own colour and crest
The tab on the left edge and the crest follow the side that scored (lastScore.color, lastScore.logo), so the alert needs no labelling to say who. A side with no crest leaves the slot empty.
Cued by the operator, fed by the game
State mode: IN on cue, hold, OUT on cue. The basket itself is not typed; the alert follows the last one the scorer recorded.
A block, a plate and a strip
The scoring side's colour is a slanted block at the left edge that carries the big label. An indigo plate holds the player and details, and a dark strip attached under it shows the score, so the alert reads as one module in the same family as the scorebug. It sits above the bottom-centre scorebug, so both can be on air at once.
Snappy, in order of importance
The plate wipes open, the colour block slides in, the label rises onto it, then the headline, the detail lines and the score strip grow in one after another. The exit is a quick fade, so the alert can be cued on and off without drawing attention to itself.
