Soccer Substitution Alert · Floodlight
A lower-third that announces the latest substitution: who came on and who went off, with shirt numbers, the minute, and the substituting side's crest and colour, on a deep indigo plate.
On above off
The player coming on is first, in white and bold with a lime ON tag; the player going off is second, quieter, with a pink OFF tag. The tags carry the meaning, so it reads without a label for either row.
Numbers lead the names
Shirt numbers sit in a right-aligned column before each name, so the names line up and a viewer who knows the squad by number reads the change at a glance. A player without a number leaves that column blank.
A lower-third that matches the goal and card alerts
Same plate, position and motion as the other alerts, so all three share safe areas and read as one family. It sits in the bottom band, clear of a scorebug in the top corner, and is 96% opaque so the pitch stays visible.
The substituting side wears its own colour and crest
The tab on the left edge and the crest follow the side that made the change (lastSub.color, lastSub.logo). A side with no crest leaves the slot empty.
Cued by the operator, fed by the match
State mode: IN on cue, hold, OUT on cue. Nothing is typed; the alert follows the last substitution the scorer recorded.
